Presentation

The Research Summer School in Statistics & BigData Science (SBDS) is at the interface of several disciplines: statistics, computer science (machine learning), signal processing, neurosciences. It will involve, during 3 days, for an audience of researchers, PhD students and engineers, a dozen of international scientists presenting their expertise and contributions in modern statistics and data science problems with a focus on large-scale/high-dimensional scenarios.

The objectives are to:
- analyze the latest theoretical advances in modeling and practical considerations regarding statistical learning, classification, representation, of large-scale raw data,
- highlight for students, scientists and practitioners the major scientific issues necessary for the development of such models and on the related practical and computational problems.

PhD Students' contributions

We are also pleased to inform you that PhD students' contributions are possible and we kindly invite interested people to submit their contributions. The accepted papers will be presented during the school according to the schedule of the school.
