Hi and welcome on my website! I am Professor of Statistics and Data Science at University of Caen, Lab. of Mathematics Nicolas Oresme (LMNO), UMR CNRS 6139, and the department of Mathematics and Computer Science. I've been Visiting Professor at the University of Queensland, Department of Mathematics, working with Geoff McLachlan. From 2011 to 2015, I've been Associate Professor of Computer Science & Machine Learning at University of Toulon, department of computer science, and the Information Sciences and Systems Lab (LSIS), UMR CNRS 7296. In 2015-2016, I was awarded a CNRS research leave, at the Lab of Mathematics Paul Painlevé, UMR CNRS 8524, in Lille. I defended my Accreditation to Supervise Research/Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches, in applied mathematics and computer science, at Toulon University, in December 2015. I defended my Ph.D. thesis, in the same area, at Compiègne University of Technology, and Heudiasyc UMR CNRS 7253 and IFSTTAR labs, in December 2010; I obtained my Master degree, in June 2007, from PARIS 6 (Pierre and Marie Curie) University. My primary research interests include statistical modeling and inference, unsupervised learning, in large-scale scenarios, including high-dimensional and functional data, towards a "Random Ecosystem for Data Intelligence-REDi©".
